Krystina Jermaczonak

Founder and photographer

A true Oregonian, I'm a lover of the simple things in life - long and meaningless phone calls, a good margarita, cuddling with my cats, organizing my house, and playing music at all hours of the day and night. I've found that there is still so much to experience and now I find myself being an adventurer, waiting for that next opportunity to hop on a plane to see something new.

I picked up a digital camera in high school and took photos of everything I saw - flowers, insects, the mountains, you name it. People started commenting on my eye, like I even understood it at that age, but I came to realize that capturing images was the perfect balance of the simple and complex. That marked the beginning of Krystina Rose Photography. I took every opportunity to intern with photographers, take classes, and even joined a modeling competition to ensure I understood all facets of photography, and in 2013 I was in business. Come with me on this photographic journey!

Why a rose?

A rose has such depth - it is beautiful, but can be prickly. It is bold, but somehow innocent. It can represent beginnings, endings, love, loss and so much more. You see them everywhere, yet they remain somewhat of a mystery. I like to think of myself and my work having those same layers, but remaining unique.

I am  Krystina Rose.

There is simply the rose - it is perfect every moment of its existence.
